Apple is preparing to release iOS 26.0.1, the first software update for iOS 26. This urgent update focuses primarily on fixing bugs that have surfaced on the new iPhone 17 models. iOS 26 has been a problematic update for iPhone 17 owners since its release.

User reports indicate inconsistent Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and CarPlay connections. There are also various issues with the camera app. iPhone Air and iPhone 17 Pro users are particularly concerned about this.

According to user reports, brief Wi-Fi outages are occurring that resolve after the phone is unlocked. This outage affects the wireless CarPlay connection and causes background processes to pause. Some users are also reporting intermittent Bluetooth disconnections. Apple will soon release the iOS 26.0.1 update, addressing all these connectivity issues.

In addition to connection issues, there are also complaints about performance and battery consumption. An iPhone 15 Pro user shared that after the update, the device overheated while using CarPlay, the Camera app experienced noticeable lag, and battery consumption increased significantly.

While the company is working on this urgent fix, it is also testing iOS 26.1 with users who have participated in the beta program. The iOS 26.1 beta brings eight new languages, including Turkish, to Apple Intelligence.

The beta also adds new languages for the AirPods live translation feature, but Turkish is not yet available. The new beta also includes the ability to swipe to skip songs in Apple Music and minor visual changes to Apple’s own apps.
